Meet Ashley Ziebarth, NP-C
Ashley Ziebarth, NP-C is a certified family nurse practitioner at White Lake Family Medicine. As a family nurse practitioner, she has been trained to treat the whole family from infancy to the elderly.Ashley received her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Oakland University in 2015. She began her career as a bedside registered nurse at Beaumont Hospital in the medical surgical unit. During this time, she monitored both acute and chronic illnesses. She transitioned to charge nurse in a mother-baby unit caring for both newborns and postpartum mothers in women’s health. She furthered her education and completed her master’s degree in nursing at South University. While completing her master’s degree, she received extensive training in women’s health and pediatrics, including routine visits, annual examinations, and preventative wellness.
Ashley is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. She received specific training in this subspecialty for treating and monitoring patients with the disease of opioid and alcohol addiction. Her passion is caring for her patients’ physical and mental health throughout their lifespan.
It has been a great pleasure for her to work alongside Dr. Leszkowitz and Mr. Chipawe. Ashley enjoys helping patients with their addictions and mental health and continuing on their path of recovery. She believes that healing and wholeness are matters of the mind, body, and spirit. She focuses on teaching patients about maintaining a balance for optimal health. She works to achieve a patient-centered approach to disease prevention, management, education, and personalized plans for each patient.
